While we haven't quite got out of the Summer heat in New York City, it's fair to say most of us are ready for a change in seasons and the chance to pull out our Fall favorites. This past month we had a photoshoot at the Housing Works Bookstore & Café showcasing some Fall-ready pieces: cozy cardigans, statement jackets, rain-ready boots, and flannels.
Following the shoot we chatted with one of the models for the shoot, Prince, who also works at our Housing Works Cannabis Co., the first legal dispensary in New York.
What do you do at Housing Works?
"Marketing and Customer service at Housing Works Cannabis Co."
Can you tell us a bit about HW Cannabis Co and how that whole business is going?
"HWCC is the first adult use cannabis dispensary in the state of NY and In the first 9 months of operations we are leading the state in sales and customer service."
What does community mean to you?
"The cannabis community is something I have been apart of in NYC for over 20 years and it’s the Unity part of the word that sticks out to me. The unity this plant brings is what creates a special cannabis community in NYC."
