What is your position at Housing Works?
I am the Director for COVID Mobile programs. We organize COVID testing and now vaccinations for underserved communities throughout New York City. As the Director of the program, I am responsible for our day-to-day operations, managing our partnerships, and mentoring future managerial leaders, while ensuring that COVID testing and vaccination services are delivered with excellence!
What do you love about your job?
The mission connected to the program, which is to provide COVID testing and most recently added vaccination resources to underserved communities.
Which social justice issue are you most concerned about at this moment in time?
The current social justice issue I am most concerned about is economic justice.
How would you describe your personal style? Who/What are your style influences?
My personal style is extremely fluid. My style influences come from my husband, Dontaytc5, who is a menswear cut + sew designer.
What is your favorite thing you ever scored at a Thrift Shop?
A men's vintage military trench with the original wool lining!
