Welcome to the Housing Works Community! My name is Daniel, and I am Director of Operations for the Housing Works Thrift Shops in NYC. I am also your eShop community liaison! I have worked at Housing Works for 13 years, and I am thrilled that we finally have an online platform to help you expand your wardrobe possibilities from the comfort of your home or wherever you find yourself at the moment. Here I’ll be sharing profiles of my stylish co-workers, the stories behind our curated collections, and thrifting tips to help you complete your collections or re-invent your looks.
Pioneers in sustainability and socially-conscious retail, Housing Works Thrift Shops are built on donations from our generous and stylish NYC-based community. Over the past 30 years our treasured neighborhood Thrift Shops have become the place to go for eclectic clothing, accessories, art, furniture, and homewares. And all purchases support incredible services including healthcare and housing for low-income New Yorkers living with HIV and other chronic illnesses, and local and national advocacy in support of social justice.
